Natural Water Features and Landscaping

I build ponds, waterfalls, fountains and landscaping so stepping outside becomes your favourite way to unwind each day.

Are you unsure how to turn your yard into a real outdoor retreat?

Maybe you have a rough idea of what you want; a place to relax after work, space for kids to explore, the sound of water in the background, but the details feel overwhelming.

A lady is sitting beside her pond, you can see her coffee pot and newspaper over her shoulder
A young boy crouches by the edge of a pond, watching several large colorful koi fish swimming near the rocks. The pond is surrounded by lush greenery and lily pads under a bright sky.

There are so many choices. Pavers, plants, lighting, water features, and layouts. It is hard to know what will actually work or how it will all fit together.

You might worry about hiring the wrong contractor, spending a lot of money, and ending up with something that looks out of place or feels like a patchwork of separate projects.

You are not alone in feeling that way. Most of my clients start in the same spot, wanting a natural, welcoming space without the stress of planning and managing everything on their own.

Helping Homeowners Transform
Outdoor Spaces

A person uses a circular saw to cut a large wooden beam in an outdoor workspace, likely preparing timber for a timber arbor or private retreat, with more beams, tools, a workbench, and a parked truck visible in the background.

Hi, I am Jeremy. I have been landscaping since 2001, first in Victoria and now in Nanaimo. Over the years I have helped homeowners across Vancouver Island turn plain or difficult yards into outdoor spaces where they actually want to spend time.

My focus is on natural water features and full-service landscape construction. That means the rocks, plants, and water are chosen to feel like they belong here on the Island, and the patio, paths, and lighting are planned around how you live.

From the first conversation to the final walkthrough, I guide you through the decisions, manage the details on site, and keep the process calm and organized so you can enjoy the results without feeling overwhelmed.

Simple Steps to Your Perfect Outdoor Space

Step 1: Tell Me About Your Project

Start by filling out the consultation form and attaching a few photos of your yard. Tell me what you are hoping to create, whether it is a fountain, a pondless waterfall, or a complete outdoor living space. You’ll get a quick follow-up call so you can ask questions and get a sense of what’s possible.

Step 2: On Site Consultation

Before the visit, I request utility locates so we know where underground services are. That way, we can make clear decisions on layout and placement during your consultation.

At your property we walk through the space, look at access, talk through ideas, and start shaping the scope of the project. By the end of the visit you will have clarity on the direction and what makes the most sense for your yard.

Step 3: Stylescape and Design Direction

After the visit, I create a simple stylescape with three visual directions so we can confirm the look and feel before moving into final planning.

Step 4: Quote and final planning

With the stylescape approved, I prepare a clear written quote and contract. This includes the scope, materials, timeline, and final investment for your project.

To reserve your spot on the calendar, a 50 percent deposit is required. From there, I manage the build from start to finish, keep the site clean, and stay in touch until your outdoor retreat is complete.
